Position Overview:
As the Director of Risk Management at CBRE, you will lead and oversee a global risk management team dedicated to a specific department or business line. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the integrity of risk and compliance controls through comprehensive reviews, audits, and the development of policies and procedures, as well as managing Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the implementation and management of risk assessment and management initiatives across various segments and markets, ensuring a cohesive and effective approach globally.
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop, interpret, and enforce functional policies and procedures, maintaining a high standard of compliance.
- Ensure timely communication and remediation of observations and issues identified during compliance reviews.
- Oversee global compliance communications related to policy changes and Business Continuity Plans.
- Ensure adherence to acceptable practices and external regulations through effective systems and processes.
- Manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, facilitating coordination across business lines.
- Educate and inform department leaders about risk management practices, promoting effective operational risk management.
- Partner with auditors as necessary to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- A minimum of 12 years of professional experience in risk management, compliance, audits, and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Proven ability to communicate complex information effectively to diverse audiences, including top management and public groups.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
