Position Summary:
As a Compounder, you will be responsible for executing all tasks related to the formulation and blending of our products, such as hand sanitizers and body creams, following established protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately measure and combine raw materials in the appropriate batching tanks for bulk production.
- Conduct all necessary SAP transactions to manage raw materials and finished products, ensuring precise inventory levels.
- Perform visual inspections of raw materials, identify any inconsistencies or adverse reactions, and take appropriate action.
- Carry out calibration and maintenance checks on compounding equipment, reporting any deviations to management.
- Adjust mixing speeds to align with variations in equipment and material properties.
- Collect in-process samples for quality control testing.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tanks, piping, and related equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Document all activities in compliance with established SOPs and work instructions.
- Execute product rework as necessary.
- Operate processing and powered industrial equipment in line with safety protocols and GMP regulations.
- Adhere to KDC's safety and environmental policies, promoting a culture of safety within the workplace.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED with strong math and reading skills.
- Experience in compounding or processing is preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong organizational abilities.
