Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Avionics/Electrical Technician I to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact.
  2. Implement process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule without compromising safety or quality.
  3. Perform the installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components and systems per Engineering specifications, drawings and maintenance manuals.
  4. Assist in ensuring quality and efficiency of all installations.
  5. Acquire and demonstrate the skills and knowledge required to effectively and efficiently repair or replace defective components and wiring.
  6. Perform and comply with engineering changes and modifications as required.
  7. Assist in set up and operation of necessary test equipment; conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability.
  8. Ensure that all work performed on the aircraft is properly and completely documented and ready for inspection.
  9. Test and maintain test equipment, electronic systems, and components.
Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required. 2 years related work experience; or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics. Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
