Job Overview

ExpertCare is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech therapy services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-home speech therapy evaluations and weekly therapy visits.
  • Develop and implement therapy plans to improve or restore speech and language functioning.
  • Document visits and services provided to recipients and families in a thorough and timely manner.
  • Instruct and familiarize recipients and family members with all aspects of the treatment plan.
  • Conduct initial evaluations of new recipients and re-evaluations of current recipients.
  • Ensure federal and state compliance to maintain licensure and complete required CEUs.
  • Attend meetings with recipients/families, CMH Social Workers, and others as appropriate.
  • Maintain communication with therapy services office staff.
  • Report to the physician on the recipient's treatment, response, and progress, and assist in determining necessary changes to the treatment plan.
  • Participate in staff meetings, case conferences, and trainings as required.

Requirements:

  • Current state SLP license.
  • Current certification.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • 2+ years' experience working as a Speech & Language Pathologist in a healthcare setting.
  • 1+ year experience in a supervisory role.
  • Minimum 6 months experience utilizing an EMR for documentation.
