About the Job

Aya Locums is seeking a skilled Anesthesiology Physician to join our team on a locum tenens basis. As a locum anesthesiologist, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Preoperative Care: Conduct thorough preoperative evaluations to identify potential risks and develop personalized care plans.
  • Intraoperative Care: Administer various types of anesthesia, including general, regional, and local anesthesia, to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Postoperative Care: Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed to prevent complications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with surgeons, surgical teams, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement optimal patient care plans.
  • Documentation: Accurately and thoroughly document patient care in the medical record.
Requirements
  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Training: Residency training program in anesthesiology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the AOA.
  • Certifications: Board certification in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
  • License: Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: At least one year of experience providing anesthesia care in a clinical setting.
