Role Summary:
The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. This role emphasizes the importance of patient advocacy and the safe delivery of care, ensuring adherence to established protocols and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Employ the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
2. Maintain accountability for professional development and nursing practice within legal parameters.
3. Advocate for patients by ensuring the provision of safe and effective care, including the delegation of tasks and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
4. Reflect the organization's mission, vision, and values in all nursing activities.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Current Registered Nurse license in Ohio.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE) for new graduates.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred (to be completed within five years of employment).
- BLS certification.
- ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications as required by unit scope.

Additional Requirements:
- Availability for on-call duties with a 30-minute response time.
