Job Responsibilities- Certification Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Neurological Interventional Hypertension (NIH) certifications are preferred.
- Job Details
- Position/Specialty: Telemetry Registered Nurse
- Shift: 3x12 night shifts, with the option to accommodate 4x12 shifts if preferred
- Average Daily Census: 25 patients
- Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required
- First-timers accepted: Yes
- Weekend Requirements: Will work every other weekend (Friday/Saturday for night shifts, Saturday/Sunday for day shifts)
- On-call Requirements: No
- Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes, will float to like units (Medical-Surgical/Cardiac)
- Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule request with manager
- Locals accepted: Yes, no radius restrictions
- Pending License accepted: No, must have active Illinois license to apply
- RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days
- Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours

- Required Cardiovascular Case Skills/Experience: Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, TR Band
- Required Endocrine/Metabolic Case Skills/Experience: IV insulin protocols
- Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs
- Required Medication Skills/Experience: Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips - no titration, Titrate Cardiac drips
- Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tubes - Emerson/Pleur-evac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management
