Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate In-Home and Foster Care Case Managers to join our team at the Ward County Human Service Zone. As a Case Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, permanency, and well-being of children and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize the Wrap Around Case Management services and Safety Framework Practice Model to provide comprehensive support to children and families.
  • Assess individual and family needs, develop appropriate services and/or treatment plans to reduce the risk of child abuse and neglect.
  • Conduct case planning meetings, develop case plans and goals, and monitor client progress towards goals.
  • Complete legal obligations relevant to case management, including face-to-face contact with children and families.
  • Collaborate with local service providers, law enforcement, and legal entities to ensure timely and effective services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, human development, education, human services, child development and family science, behavioral health, or criminal justice.
  • One of the following certifications: Family Services Specialist III (SC7005), Family Services Specialist II (SC7004), or Family Services Specialist I (SC7004).
  • Two years of professional work experience as a social worker, child protective service worker, or professional case manager (or equivalent experience).
  • Valid ND Driver's License and reliable transportation.
