Job Title: Advanced Practice Wound Care Specialist

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Wound Care Specialist to join our team at CareMed Health Solutions. The successful candidate will be a licensed nurse practitioner with expertise in wound care, particularly in the management of complex and chronic wounds.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

About the Role:

The Advanced Practice Wound Care Specialist will provide comprehensive wound care services to patients residing in skilled nursing facilities. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and educating patients and caregivers on wound care best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide wound care services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of wounds
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with complex or chronic wounds
  • Educate patients and caregivers on wound care best practices and self-management techniques
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Qualifications:

  • Current, unrestricted NP license in the state of Kentucky
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine, Gerontology, or another relevant specialty
  • DEA licensure (optional)
  • Clinical background in adult, family, or geriatric specialties
  • Experience working in a long-term care setting
