About the Role
This is a full-time position at our Stanley clinic, working 30-35 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with a strong background in family medicine or primary care. You will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care, including accurate assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and health counseling.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary and family evidence-based care, inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.
- Perform administrative duties, including opening and closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment.
- Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes.
- Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness programs.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
- Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
- Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.
