Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist to join our team at Aebi Schmidt North America. As an Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling component parts for our products according to established specifications, schedules, and standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assembly and Quality Control
    • Assemble component parts for products according to established specifications, schedules, and standards of quality.
    • Inspect and test completed component assemblies and diagnose malfunctions and make necessary adjustments.
  • Tooling and Equipment
    • Use a variety of hand and power tools along with inspection equipment.
    • Clean and lubricate parts and assemblies.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Enter information into established computer system, production records, logs, time clock, and other forms.
    • Report lot codes of components used in assemblies, and recording assemblies built.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Assist in staging parts for painting.
    • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective production processes.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
    • Experience in assembly and quality control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, or written/verbal directions.
    • Ability to assemble component parts, utilizing appropriate hand tools.
    • Ability to work with electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
