This position is essential in providing direct patient care to assist healthcare professionals and physicians in delivering exceptional patient-centered services.
- Comprehensive Patient Support: Offers comfort and hygiene assistance to patients, which includes bathing, oral care, changing linens, serving meals, and monitoring vital signs and lab specimens.
- Clinical Assistance: Aids in patient testing, IV administration, tracheostomy care, dressing changes, CPR, and specimen collection.
- Equipment Management: Assists in the preparation and setup of medical equipment for procedures.
- Patient Transport: Supports the movement of patients using mobility aids and during transfer processes.
- Effective Communication: Ensures accurate documentation and maintains clear communication to address patient and family needs while respecting confidentiality.
- Quality Enhancement: Utilizes resources efficiently to improve service quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Minimum Education: Preferred: High School Diploma
- Minimum Experience: Required: Less than one year of relevant experience, Preferred: 1-2 years of related experience
- Licensure/Certifications: Required: Certified Nurse Assistant, CPR Certification
