Position Overview
  • Specialty: Respiratory Therapist
  • Discipline: Allied Health Professional
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week
  • Shift Length: 8 hours
  • Employment Type: Travel

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and monitor medical gases and mechanical ventilator support.
  • Perform artificial airway placement and care.
  • Conduct broncho pulmonary hygiene and manage pharmacological agents related to respiratory procedures.
  • Engage in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation specific to respiratory care.
  • Execute diagnostic tests such as EEG's, EKG's, and ABG's.

Submission Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric respiratory therapy.
  • Current registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Possession of a valid state license.
  • Prior travel experience of at least one year.
  • Ability to perform intubation and manage critical care ventilators.

Certification Requirements:

  • ACLS
  • BLS (AHA)
  • NBRC
  • NRP
  • PALS (AHA)
