Job Overview

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fire Suppression Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems, and Suppression Gas Systems at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for Emergency Service.
  • Perform inspections of Suppression Gas Systems based on contract requirements.

Requirements

  • Mechanical/electrical background required.
  • Ability to work with extinguishers, kitchen systems, and emergency/exit light inspections.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding customer-facing service and problem-solving skills.
  • PC skills, including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Valid US driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturer certifications, such as ANSUL or Kiddie PyroChem.
  • Location within 50 miles of the Macon, GA area.
