Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and coordinating drawings with clients, architects, and other engineering professionals.

  • Maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients.

Training and Development
During your tenure, you will gain invaluable insights into:
  • The assembly of buildings prior to design initiation, understanding the various trades involved.
  • The manufacturing process of precast components through site visits.
  • Engineering and drafting techniques for wall panels, double T's, cladding systems, and lateral systems.

Within approximately four years, you will be equipped to take the Professional Engineer examination, with support for exam preparation courses and coverage of associated costs.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a focus on Structural coursework from an ABET accredited institution, maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, with EIT certification required upon hire.

Successful candidates will demonstrate:
  • Adaptability to changing work demands and the ability to manage responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to present ideas clearly and professionally.
  • Logical thinking and analytical skills to tackle engineering design challenges.
  • A willingness to accept guidance and seek expertise from various sources.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, or similar software.
