CareConnect Seeks Experienced Home Health Aides

We are committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients in Queens, NY. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping our patients maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized care to patients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients at all times.
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals, prioritizing patient safety and adherence.
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to medical personnel promptly.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families, fostering a sense of trust and connection.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
Requirements:
  • Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
  • A deep understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • The ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency.
  • Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills, ensuring effective communication and documentation.
  • A minimum age of 18 years old, meeting the basic requirements for this role.
