Leidos is looking for an Information Security Systems Architect to become a vital part of our team. This role focuses on ensuring the integrity and security of our systems through comprehensive assessments and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft a Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation package that outlines security controls, system scanning methodologies, and a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) for ongoing maintenance.
  • Design and articulate the security architecture for a sophisticated, mission-critical defense network in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) standards.
  • Conduct thorough security evaluations of computing environments to pinpoint vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations.
  • Identify and develop strategies to mitigate security threats and risks throughout the lifecycle of the program.

Essential Qualifications

  • Possession of a minimum Secret clearance with the capability to secure a TS/SCI clearance.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree combined with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Must obtain DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 baseline certification within six months of employment.
  • Familiarity with the NIST Risk Management Framework is required.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience with DoD security Accreditation and Authorization processes.
  • Proficiency in using eMASS for security management.
  • Hands-on experience with Tenable Nessus for vulnerability scanning.
