About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Department Head Eye Care to lead our Department of Ophthalmology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical direction and vision for the specialty across all markets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ophthalmology, with experience in a matrixed healthcare environment. You will be expected to provide leadership and oversight, while ensuring alignment with departmental strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development and implementation of enterprise-wide standards of care for ophthalmology, including consistent care paths, outcomes, patient experience, and approach to treatment across all markets.
  • Lead the development of end-to-end enterprise strategic priorities for ophthalmology, spanning clinical care, research, education, and innovation.
  • Partner with market leaders to support the market strategic planning process and achieve integrated care delivery, research, quality, innovation, and education.
Requirements
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • License to practice medicine in the state(s) in which the physician is practicing medicine and hospital credentials/privileges at practicing hospital(s).
Estimated Salary

$280,000 - $380,000 per year, depending on experience.
