Job Summary

Ryder is seeking a skilled Regional Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Boston, MA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination and delivering goods to customers in the NE and New England region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload freight, or assist in the loading/unloading of freight as required by customers
  • Maintain accurate records and logs, and ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
