Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily field inspections of residential, commercial, and public facility construction projects.
  • Collaborate with the public to explain technical information and provide guidance on building codes and regulations.
  • Review and analyze residential and commercial plans, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to address code-related issues and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and additional details, using computer logs to track inspection reports and enter results into permitting software.
Requirements:
  • Hold ICC Commercial Building Inspector Certification.
  • Prior experience as an Inspector is preferred.
  • Additional ICC certifications are beneficial.
