Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Control Specialist to join our Maintenance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our commitment to the best equipment and automation technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Test and operate equipment and controls to ensure optimal performance
- Modify and troubleshoot PLC controls, HMI systems, and databases as required
- Update electrical and electronic drawings as needed
- Develop and maintain operational and maintenance manuals
- Assist in resolving problems, delays, and difficulties
- Troubleshoot equipment and recommend repair methods
- Use computer systems to assist in troubleshooting, monitoring, and filling out maintenance requests
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Two-year degree preferred
- Three to five years' experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
- One to two years' experience with interpreting electrical schematics
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally
