We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Carolina Comfort Air Inc. in the US.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have excellent math abilities, basic spreadsheet and word-processing knowledge, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

In this role, you will source and order materials as needed, efficiently prioritize and complete requests from multiple departments and locations daily, create and send purchase orders according to company procedure, and maintain purchase order status and shipment tracking information.

You will also communicate effectively with vendors and CCA employees to address procurement issues, resolve product identification and availability issues with vendors, work diligently to identify cost-effective purchasing options, and verify specifications and material data to ensure proper material sourcing.

Furthermore, you will aid in the completion of CCA's end-of-month inventory process by completing valuations of materials on hand, departmental transfers, and Retail Dept. job costing, maintain current product descriptions and pricing in QuickBooks, ordering forms, and inventory spreadsheets, and assist in routine office activities and special projects as required.
