Job Title: Analytical Chemist

We are seeking an experienced Analytical Chemist to join our team in Myerstown, PA. This is a contract position with a competitive estimated salary of $95,000 per year.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex analytical tests on in-process and finished products to ensure they meet compendial and/or company standards. This includes utilizing advanced laboratory instrumentation and maintaining accurate records of all analysis information.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement new analytical methods and procedures as needed.\
• Perform routine analytical testing of in-process, finished Bulk products, and Stability products.\
• Evaluate all data obtained from analysis and recommend additional testing if necessary.\
• Maintain accurate records of all analysis information and adhere to pertinent aspects of Corporate and plant safety programs.\
• Collaborate with supervisors to troubleshoot analytical methodology and instrumentation malfunctions.\
• Perform special assignments as directed by supervisor.\

Requirements:

• \
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Chemistry or Biology.\
• Knowledge, practical application, and understanding of analytical chemistry is required to perform the functions of this position.\
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.\
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment is required.\
• Good working knowledge of advanced laboratory instrumentation and personal computer skills are required.\
• Competencies required: analytical problem solving, alertness, work within established policies and procedures, commitment to task, decisiveness, effective written and interpretive communication skills, and organization and planning skills.\
• Experience in wet analytical methods and instrumentation techniques preferred; HPLC, UV, GC, IR, and AA preferred.\
