Impacting Lives Through Support
The Mental Health Support Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering community-based support and case management services to individuals in need. Utilizing principles of Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Recovery Philosophy, and Evidence-Based practices, this position focuses on empowering clients and their families through education and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide mental health rehabilitation services.
- Facilitate case management and crisis intervention to ensure integrated care.
- Collaborate with various agencies and services, including legal and protective services, to coordinate care.
- Deliver trauma-informed care and support for holistic well-being.
Work Schedule
Full Time; AM: am - : pm; Monday - Friday
Compensation is competitive and based on geographic location and relevant experience.
Qualifications (Required)
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, or related field with two years of direct mental health service experience; or a Bachelor's degree with four years of experience; or an Associate's Degree with six years of experience.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance.
- Willingness to transport clients to appointments using personal or company vehicles.
