Position Overview:
This role is within a 171-bed healthcare facility that provides a comprehensive range of services across various medical fields. Our medical team consists of over 33 affiliated physicians, showcasing a diverse array of expertise in 31 specialties.
The Radiation Therapy Specialist is responsible for developing treatment plans for all patients assigned to Radiation Oncology; managing appointment schedules; educating patients about procedures; warmly welcoming physicians, patients, and their families; assisting the supervisor with quality assurance for Accelerators, Simulators, and related equipment; aiding in Simulations, Block fabrication, and preparation of treatment charts and computers; ensuring adherence to radiation safety protocols; and composing and reviewing patient progress reports, including documentation and communication with referring physicians.
Work Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts.

- Graduation from an accredited Therapeutic Radiologic Technology program resulting in an Associate or Bachelor's degree, or from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program with an Associate Degree and a Certificate in Radiation Therapy.
- AART (T) certification is required upon hire.
- AZ Medical Radiology License is mandatory upon hire (Original license must be available at the facility to commence employment).
- Radiation Therapy Technologist Certificate.
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist are required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- 2-3 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
