Summer Camp Leadership Supervisor

Join the Girl Scouts of Colorado team as a Summer Camp Leadership Supervisor and make a difference in the lives of children. Spend an unforgettable summer in the Rocky Mountains at Tomahawk Ranch, a licensed and accredited camp by the American Camp Association.
This is a unique opportunity to gain work experience and develop desirable skills, especially for those pursuing a degree in education or recreation. As a Leadership Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting lead counselors, cabin counselors, and CITs at a Girl Scouts of Colorado camp property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency procedures during on-site and off-site trip incidents.
- Support health and wellness practices.
- Assist operational, program, cabin leadership, and health staff as needed.
- Manage program equipment and assist with the planning and implementation of programs for campers and CITs.
Requirements:
- Some college preferred or equivalent post-high school leadership/supervisory work experience.
- Current certifications in First Aid/CPR, Child Abuse Mandated Reporter, Universal Standard Precautions, and Medication Administration.
- Experience working with children, in outdoor programs, and/or camps.
- Proven leadership and supervision skills.
Working Environment:
- Camps are at altitudes of 8,000-9,500 feet.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and extended overnight periods.
- Required daily exposure to stimulating and loud environments.
