Sigma Defense is seeking a highly skilled Software Integration and Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our DevOps team, you will be responsible for developing and testing software tools using open-source software within a containerized environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement software tools using open-source software
- Test and validate software tools to ensure quality and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development needs
- Design and implement containerized environments for software development and testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a fast-paced environment
- Develop and maintain documentation for software tools and processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in software development and testing
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in software development and testing
- Strong knowledge of open-source software and containerized environments
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with P-8A Application Based Architecture (ABA) and/or P-8A Tactical Open Mission (TOMS) software
- Knowledge of Linux, Python, Kubernetes, Docker, and other relevant technologies
Clearance Level:
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
