Job Summary:

The Card Access Specialist is responsible for maintaining physical security by providing identity and access management services. This role involves communicating and interacting with business partners to produce and maintain card access privileges for employees, contractors, and vendors. The Card Access Specialist operates software and analyzes data to perform physical identity and access management, applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage physical access and mitigate risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with business partners to coordinate tasks and projects, ensuring compliance with published Service Level Agreements.
  • Manage time and prioritize tasks independently, understanding when to involve team members and management.
  • Collaborate with team members and management, receiving feedback and providing superior customer service to internal US Bancorp customers.
  • Apply Identity and Access Management policies and procedures while processing requests and completing projects, ensuring compliance with US Bancorp policies and procedures.
  • Identify escalations and exceptions to policies and procedures, communicating them to management to improve Identity and Access Management operations and maintain safety and security.
  • Process Access Card requests, troubleshoot issues, and update access or cardholder details into different card access systems.

Requirements:

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Data entry and Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Basic understanding of database management and/or SQL.

Working Conditions:

This is a short-term project with no promise of extension, requiring the manager to move quickly in interviewing candidates.
