As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing civil engineering and permitting tasks, delegating and providing direction to engineering/drafting staff, and leading and reviewing the development of calculations, drawings, and associated project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, design, and facilitate civil engineering project design tasks such as site grading and drainage design, access road design, erosion and sediment pollution control design, stormwater management design, report preparation, and permitting.
- Manage technical work, staff planning, budget/schedule management, scope change management, quality assurance/peer reviews, report writing, staff mentorship, and client coordination.
- Prepare proposals, including scope and budget development and interdisciplinary coordination.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other engineering leads to schedule resource and QA/QC peer reviews.
- Conduct field condition assessments and perform bid and construction phase services, including responding to bidder questions, responding to contractor requests for information, and submittal reviews, site visits, and verifying change order documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site design, permitting, and project management.
- Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, HY-8, Pondpack, Hydraflow, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other related engineering software.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
- Valid driver's license.
