Key Responsibilities- Provide process improvement support for production in areas of equipment design, material processing, ERP system, and documentation.
- Design or specify and implement equipment necessary to support process continuous improvements and developments.
- Review daily performance of production processes including safety, quality, scrap, and rework.
- Take appropriate actions to address problem areas to minimize/improve.
- Provide feedback to mfg. personnel as appropriate and communicate with supervision if there are performance, tooling or training needs that need to be addressed.
- Industry experience in process engineering or polymer processing preferred.
- Ability to work well with different functions and levels of organization.
- 6Sigma Green Belt or higher (preferred), Statistics, DOE, and Process Optimization experience.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, analyze results and plan improvements.
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft office tools.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Competitive salary range: $69,595 - $86,995.
