Job Summary

Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for improving safety, quality, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide process improvement support for production in areas of equipment design, material processing, ERP system, and documentation.
  • Design or specify and implement equipment necessary to support process continuous improvements and developments.
  • Review daily performance of production processes including safety, quality, scrap, and rework.
  • Take appropriate actions to address problem areas to minimize/improve.
  • Provide feedback to mfg. personnel as appropriate and communicate with supervision if there are performance, tooling or training needs that need to be addressed.
Requirements
  • Industry experience in process engineering or polymer processing preferred.
  • Ability to work well with different functions and levels of organization.
  • 6Sigma Green Belt or higher (preferred), Statistics, DOE, and Process Optimization experience.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, analyze results and plan improvements.
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft office tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
