As a Diesel Mechanic Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
  • Test-drive vehicles, test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional service needed and provide an estimate of time required for additional repairs
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Requirements:

  • Dealership experience preferred
  • ASE certifications are ideal
  • Strong automotive background
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
  • Must have a clean and valid driver's license
