Job Description:

The Senior .NET Developer role at TechnoGen is focused on maintaining and enhancing our existing .NET applications developed in VB.NET, C# with Oracle, and SQL Server as databases. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing software requirements, designing, developing, testing, and implementing new features or making enhancements to existing applications according to specifications from our program team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize object-oriented techniques and best practices for design, development, unit testing, and deployment.
• Employ Microsoft .NET Framework and a supported MVC framework, C# programming language to develop applications.
• Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement software programs and application enhancements.
• Document all deliverables and perform system unit testing and validation of procedures.
• Collaborate with our program area team on technical issues, including system design and testing.
• Analyze information to recommend and plan the development and implementation of new systems or modifications to existing systems.
• Work with program team members on detailed business requirements, understanding business processes and technology, agency standards, and ensuring project goal alignment.
• Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
• Collaborate with the project manager to ensure the project plan is maintained and project milestones are being met.
• Possess the ability to work independently and under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment.

Requirements:

• 10 years of experience with ASP.NET.
• 5 years of experience with C# and MVC.
• Experience in analysis and addressing security-related issues for applications built in multiple languages.
• 5 years of experience with web services.
• Expert understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to solve complex programming issues.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields with IT experience.
• Experience in the Healthcare Industry is highly desired.
