Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Class B Driver/Handler to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you'll be responsible for delivering products to customers, contractors, and jobsites throughout the location geographic region. You'll work well with team members or independently, giving and receiving feedback in a constructive manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately complete corresponding delivery paperwork and work with production, sales, and customers to communicate issues with loads and delivery time.
  • No more than 1 moving violation in the previous 3 years.
  • Pass required D.O.T. and CMC Logistics drug testing programs and physicals as required by D.O.T.
  • Perform daily Pre-Trip, Inter-Trip, and Post Trip Inspections.
  • Responsible for the delivery of products to customers, contractors, and jobsites throughout the location geographic region.
  • Work well with team members or independently; give and receive feedback in a constructive manner.
  • Manually handle material on production line.
  • Responsible for transporting materials inside facility by forklift.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.
  • Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver License required.
  • Driver must be knowledgeable in D.O.T. Regulations/Requirements.
  • Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor/trailer experience required (flatbed hauling over-the-road experience preferred).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work outside under all weather conditions to include working in the heat and cold weather.
