Material Handler Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Hologic. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unload trucks using forklift and pallet jack
  • Generate daily cycle count worksheets, back order and negative reports
  • Perform daily cycle count activities and reconcile variances
  • Receive materials from incoming to approved inventory, verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Conduct sale operation of all vehicles and handling equipment, maintain in a safe operative condition, and store in a secure area of the warehouse
  • Maintain in-house stock levels for production, ensuring uninterrupted flow of raw materials to production
Requirements:
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle count program
  • May ensure no production downtime based on material shortages
  • Ensure accuracy of PDS receiving log if required
Education & Experience:

High school degree or equivalent, 1 to 2 years related experience

The annualized base salary range for this hourly role is $32,900-$49,400 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
