DMC OR CST

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Dallas Medical Center. As a CST, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.

• Prepare and maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment, adhering to strict sterile technique and infection control protocols.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, passing instruments and supplies as needed.
• Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of procedures.
• Participate in pre- and post-operative patient care, providing emotional support and assistance as needed.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist in a hospital setting.
• Orthopedic, spine, and general surgery experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
• Current CST certification and BLS certification.

This is a 13-week contract position, working days to 3p with call requirements. You will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment, with opportunities for growth and development.
