The Debt Recovery Specialist position at Rhinebeck Bank is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong customer service skills and the ability to handle potentially difficult customers in a professional manner.

This position involves initiating, pursuing, and ensuring the prompt collection of delinquent loan accounts, which includes contacting customers by telephone and written correspondence, processing delinquent loan payments, and entering collection activities on the Bank's computer system for tracking purposes.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet the high volume of phone activity required for this role.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and two years of banking experience, with a strong understanding of Secondary Market guidelines.

This position offers a competitive salary of $25 per hour, with opportunities for career growth and development through coaching, mentoring, and supportive management.
