Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Box Office Manager to join our team at Coronado Unified. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our box office, ensuring seamless execution of events and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Box Office Operations: Supervise and coordinate the activities of box office volunteers, ensuring efficient ticket sales, customer service, and technical support.
  • Event Management: Collaborate with the CoSA Foundation Assistant to brief volunteers, deploy staff, and ensure a smooth event experience.
  • Ticketing and Point of Sale: Utilize the ticketing and PoS system to process transactions, troubleshoot issues, and provide support to staff and volunteers.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that volunteers are implementing and following all box office policies and procedures, and that concession sales and merchandise sales are processed efficiently.
  • Communication: Connect with the Director and Technical staff to coordinate start-of-show notifications, intermission support, and post-event activities.
Requirements
  • Education: High school degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience supervising customer service personnel.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent attendance, professional appearance and behavior, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
  • Language: Bilingual applicants are encouraged.
  • Availability: Required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
