Job Summary

Williamsburg Landing, a leading provider of senior living services, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Lifeguard to join our team. As a key member of our aquatic center team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of lifeguards to ensure the safety of patrons
  • Conduct daily inspections of the pool and surrounding areas to identify and address any potential hazards
  • Test and maintain the chemical balance of the pool water to ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Provide personalized orientations and training to residents and guests on pool safety and operations
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote a safe and enjoyable aquatic experience for all users
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient operation of the aquatic center
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and reporting incidents
Requirements
  • Certification as a Lifeguard and current CPR, AED, and First Aid training
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience as a lifeguard in a recreational or therapeutic setting preferred
  • Pool Operator Certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment
