Williamsburg Landing, a leading provider of senior living services, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Lifeguard to join our team. As a key member of our aquatic center team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and guests.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of lifeguards to ensure the safety of patrons
- Conduct daily inspections of the pool and surrounding areas to identify and address any potential hazards
- Test and maintain the chemical balance of the pool water to ensure a safe and healthy environment
- Provide personalized orientations and training to residents and guests on pool safety and operations
- Develop and implement strategies to promote a safe and enjoyable aquatic experience for all users
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient operation of the aquatic center
- Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and reporting incidents
- Certification as a Lifeguard and current CPR, AED, and First Aid training
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience as a lifeguard in a recreational or therapeutic setting preferred
- Pool Operator Certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
