We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to contribute to our dynamic team at Memorial Hospital of Union County.
Key Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will implement both outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation strategies aimed at restoring bodily functions, alleviating discomfort, and preventing disabilities resulting from illness, injury, or surgical procedures.
Your role will include educating patients on the proper use and care of assistive devices such as braces, canes, crutches, and prosthetics. You will also be responsible for documenting relevant patient information in their medical records.
Licensure and Certification:
Must hold a valid license from the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Athletic Trainers Board to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Ohio. Continuous certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is also required.
Work Schedule:
Shift: 1st
