About Assisting Hands of Seacoast NH

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment within clients' residences, including light cleaning and straightening of the bathroom, sleeping and living areas, washing dishes or laundry, and other tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety.
  • Perform all personal care activities contained in a written Plan of Care, including assisting with personal hygiene, ambulation and exercise, eating, dressing, shaving, physical transfer, and other duties as assigned.
  • Assist clients with running errands, such as doctors' appointments, grocery shopping, and approved activities to improve quality of life.
  • Provide nutritional support as needed, including meal preparation and assisting with feeding.
  • Document and report any changes in clients' conditions to the care management team, including appearance and gross behavioral changes.
  • Provide medication reminders and abide by the agency's infection control policies, including proper hand washing techniques consistent with CDC Guidelines.
  • Abide by all policies and procedures outlined in the agency's Policy and Procedure Manual, Caregiver Handbook, and Caregiver Training Manual.
