Key Responsibilities:

  • Under general supervision, define system scope and objectives through research and analysis to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
  • Prepare detailed specifications for programming tasks.
  • Analyze and revise existing system logic issues and documentation as necessary.
  • Competent in most phases of applications systems analysis but requires guidance in certain areas.
  • Support the review and analysis of new requests for system services to provide scope and effort information to project managers.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of Application Systems.
  • Compile reports on outages, trends, and analyses of relevant IT Systems information.
  • Monitor and report alarms, with the ability to triage calls and resolve issues.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of network troubleshooting and support techniques.
  • Utilize Case Tools as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's Degree with 7 years of experience or Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience.
  • Required Skills:
    • Ability to perform a variety of analytical tasks related to design and implementation, including personnel, hardware, software, and support facilities.
    • Proficient in troubleshooting and providing technical support and solutions to users.
    • Guide users in formulating requirements and advise on alternative approaches.
    • Effective communication with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
  • Clearance Level: TS/SCI.
  • Required Certifications:
    • DoD M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager.
    • IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Candidates must be willing to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions.
    • Position may require lifting of objects (i.e., IT Hardware), reaching/bending/kneeling (i.e., plugging in cables), and other moderately strenuous activities.
    • Travel may be required to support the mission.
