We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented MRI/Radiology Technologist to join our team at Campbell Clinic. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for utilizing advanced imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Image Acquisition: Utilize radiologic and/or imaging equipment with proper techniques and procedures to obtain appropriate images as directed by the physician.
- Patient Education: Instruct patients appropriately on radiological or imaging procedures to ensure their comfort and safety.
- Contrast Administration: Perform venipuncture and administer contrast as directed by the physician, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Image Management: Maintain images in our electronic system, ensuring accurate and efficient storage and retrieval.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain and clean examination rooms and equipment, promoting a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Equipment Registration: Maintain equipment registrations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by management, contributing to the smooth operation of our diagnostic imaging department.
- Education: Completion of an accredited post-secondary training program in radiology is required.
- Experience: One year of applicable experience is preferred, but not required.
- Computer Skills: Must be computer literate, with basic computer skills required for efficient operation of our electronic systems.
- Certifications & Licenses: AART certification and current license in Tennessee or Mississippi (depending on the work location) is required and must be maintained.
