Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Summary:

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity awaits at our LTAC Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. As an SLP on our team, you will play a crucial role in helping patients maximize their speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapy to patients to enhance their communication skills and overall well-being
  • Communicate patient progress to supervisors and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily
  • Document patient care according to regulatory requirements
  • Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of a masters level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by Education Standards Board or whose practice meets ASHA certification requirements
  • Meet the education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
  • Minimum of six months experience working with adult and geriatric populations
  • Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are rendered
  • Current CPR certification
