Physical Therapist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Generis Tek Inc. in Grand Marais, MN.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Restore patients' function, alleviate pain, and prevent disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed physical therapy.
  • Provide quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results.
  • Determine physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.
  • Help patients accomplish treatment plans by administering manual exercises, giving massages, and using equipment as necessary.
  • Evaluate and record patients' progress, modifying treatment plans and trying new treatments if required.
  • Evaluate the use and fit of prosthetic and orthotic devices by observing, noting, and observing patients' progress, and recommending adjustments and modifications.
  • Document patient care services by charting in-patient and department records.
  • Instruct patients in proper in-home exercises and therapies.
  • Educate patients and their families about the recovery process and the challenges they will face.
Requirements:
  • Licensed as a physical therapist.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of physical therapy experience preferred.
