The Assistant Director for Radiation and Environmental Health will be responsible for providing innovative, strategic, and tactical leadership for the comprehensive laboratory program. This includes ensuring regulatory compliance, managing high-hazard operations, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop effective emergency response plans. The successful candidate will also lead the implementation and adoption of EHS Assist software system related to their area of EHSS.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of supervisory experience and a master's degree. Certification as a Certified Health Physicist (CHP) or Certified Laser Safety Officer (CLSO) is required. They will also possess advanced data management, analytical, quantitative, technical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt.
