Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with respiratory disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat patients with respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.
  • Develop and implement respiratory care plans, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results to diagnose and monitor respiratory conditions.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory health and disease management.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Illinois.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an inpatient setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
