Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Veterinarian to join our team as an In-Home Care Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care for geriatric and terminally ill pets, guiding families in making end-of-life decisions and building relationships with local veterinary clinics.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care for pets, ensuring a peaceful and dignified passing.
- Guide families in making informed end-of-life decisions, providing emotional support and guidance.
- Build and maintain relationships with local veterinary clinics, serving as an extension of their excellent care.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree.
- At least 1 year of experience as a practicing veterinarian.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. assisted.
- Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to handle medical tools.
