About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the cognitive, social, and emotional development of infants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe and respond to the individual needs of each child, providing personalized support and care.
  • Prepare and maintain a beautiful and orderly environment that promotes independence, exploration, and learning.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with parents, communicating effectively and collaboratively to ensure the best possible care for each child.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the Montessori curriculum, incorporating hands-on activities and materials to promote learning and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • Montessori diploma for 0-3 or willingness to obtain.
  • Experience working with infants in a group setting, such as daycare or nursery.
  • Familiarity with child-led philosophies, such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori.
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development credits preferred.
