Position Overview

As a vital member of our team, the Housekeeper I plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff. This full-time position involves working 75 hours per pay period during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute cleaning tasks in designated areas according to established schedules and methods.
• Assist in the cleanup of emergency spills as needed.
• Conduct daily inspections of assigned equipment to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
• Report any maintenance needs for equipment, furnishings, and facilities.
• Manage waste and soiled linens appropriately, adhering to biohazard waste handling protocols.
• Monitor supply levels and inform supervisors when additional supplies are required.
• Perform self-assessments of all cleaning tasks and assigned areas.
• Adhere to safety standards and policies, completing necessary training and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: No specific educational requirements; a combination of formal education and/or relevant work experience is acceptable. Preference may be given to candidates with a high school diploma or GED.

Experience: No prior experience required.

Licensure: None required.
