Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to fill a critical role in our research and development team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for operating complex laboratory equipment, performing quality control duties, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer and LC-MS/MS instruments for confirmatory testing and data analysis.
  • Perform initial review of data and prepare validation samples for new controls, calibrators, and reagents.
  • Document QC validation results and store supplies in a secure and organized manner.
  • Adhere to security procedures for ensuring confidentiality of donor information and maintaining a secure laboratory environment.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field.
  • Advanced ability to understand analytical techniques and procedures, including those related to laboratory instrumentation and certification requirements.
  • Ability to lift and/or move 25 pounds and have full body movement, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Math and reasoning ability to develop and communicate laboratory procedures and reports, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Work Environment:
  • Climate-controlled office and testing laboratory environment, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Potential exposure to toxic or hazardous materials, with a focus on adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
